Miami and Fort Lauderdale Criminal Lawyer David Raben has specialized in the area of Criminal Defense in both State and Federal Courts for nearly thirty years. Mr. Raben has always dedicated his entire practice to handling the representation of the citizen accused in any form. His practice has taken him to not only throughout the State of Florida but in Federal Courts throughout this country.
A graduate of the University of Florida College of Law in 1980, Mr. Raben has accumulated a vast array of acquittals in both state and federal courts throughout the years. The acquittals include a wide variety of felony matters involving arson, aggravated assault, carjacking’s, conspiracies, drug trafficking, burglary, child abuse, theft, money laundering, drug offenses, drunk driving, domestic violence, fraud, welfare fraud, medicare fraud, insurance fraud and homicides.
Mr. Raben is the past chairman of a Florida Bar Grievance Committee, a graduate of the National College of Criminal Defense, and is routinely selected as one of the top criminal defense attorney’s in both the South Florida Legal Guide and Florida Super Lawyers. Mr. Raben obtained an AV rating from Martine Dale Hubble reflecting the high esteem he is held by his fellow professionals. Moreover, Mr. Raben has served as an adjunct professor in the Criminal Litigation Skills Program at the University of Miami since 1997 teaching pre-trial criminal practice. Mr. Raben is also a proud member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (1983) and the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (1987).
